On February 6th, Charlie, Jez, Peter, Mark, Dean, Simon, Jacky, Jane and myself set off to try and ascend the 20,000 feet of Mount Kilimanjaro. Four of us reached the top, one reached Gilman's point and four became ill. Our story is told below as it happened.

Kenya oh Kenya
We arrived in Kenya after an 8 hour flight, squashed like sardines at the back of the plane- but it wasn't too bad.
But we hadn't allowed for Kenyan visa control. An hour and a half in the queue and still nowhere near the front.
We are a team of fun-loving adventurers with a zest for life, a desire to raise money for good causes and a wish to empty the bucket list before the bucket gets too rusty!
